We offer a very thorough Visa application process!
If you wish to study in Thailand, you will need proof (documentation) at the type of your visa application that the Thai Ministry of Education accredits your proposed place of study. You will be able, with our help, to issue certificate documents to the school so that you can sign up for more long-term study with a safe and secure education visa. Any questions from overseas or from within Thailand can be accepted by the school. We can support the application process until the visa is issued.

- The course fee does not include the cost of a textbook
- Group lessons cannot be canceled or transferred to other students.
- Course fees do not include visa application or visa update fees.

At Phasorn you can study languages regardless of the type of visa, but for students that would like to study long term and live here in Thailand they will need to apply for a student visa. We are here to help and advise on the procedure. Students can apply for a visa for periods from 3 months and up to 1-½ years and anyone over the age of 10 years old can apply.
Visa application procedure
Prepare required documents.
Apply for student visa course (either at the school reception or by mail/email).
Create and verify application documents at the school, then you can apply to the Ministry of Education in Thailand (time takes between 1 and 2 weeks).
Examination and certification at the Thai Ministry of Education (time takes between 1 and 1 ½ months)
If the application is rejected, the documents will be returned to our school. They may require further documentation from the student.
When the application is accepted, students who live in Thailand can collect the documentation from our school, for those who live abroad, the documentation will be sent to you by mail.
The student must then apply for the visa in their home country or in the case of living in Thailand, a neighboring country such as Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia etc.
Please note: For the latest information, such as days closed, visa application accepting times and procedures at the various embassies and embassy consular sections, be sure to check on their websites. It is the responsibility of the students not our school to check third party office opening times and closures, we cannot accept any responsibility or be liable for situations we have no control over.
Documents required for visa application
- Visa application form (school specified format)
- Photos (4cm × 6cm) 12 copies
- A copy of the passport (Main page and all pages that have immigration and/or visa stamps)
- Tuition and visa procedure fee (2,000 baht)
If you arte living aboard: Visa fee (2,000 baht) + tuition deposit (10,000 baht) Please transfer the amount to our school’s designated account (Bangkok Bank account). Send the documentation and photos to our school by mail.

Visa extension/renewal
Visa extension/renewal
After arriving in Thailand, students continuing to learn will need to extend the visa period; you will need to be updated every 90 days. At the time of the update, documents issued by the school will be needed to apply for an extension at immigration (Immigration Bureau) in Bangkok city.
Cancellation/Refund
If the issuance of a student visa is denied, the costs of application to the school for course fees etc. can be refunded but the visa application fee cannot be refunded.
Notification of address
For foreigners to stay continuously for more than 90 days in Thailand, the address of the foreigner must be reported every 90 days at the Immigration Bureau. Please note that the visa update/extension application is an entirely different procedure.
Re-entry Permit
During the visa validity period, if the student wishes to leave Thailand for a period of time then a re-entry permit is required. This can be applied for at immigration in Bangkok or at the airport when leaving. A fee will apply for this service.
